WHEEL REPAIR:

Wheel Repair - Before & AfterCurbed or damaged wheels are nothing new for car enthusiasts. Repairing these damaged wheels, whether by the dealer or a performance shop, can be an expensive and annoying hassle as many places require you to manually remove the dirty wheel yourself and bring it to them. (Usually ending up in your back seat.) Take comfort in our same day service for your wheels in which you can drop off your car in the morning and pick it up at your convenience. This means you are free and clear of any physical labor and down time while waiting for your wheel to get shipped back to you.

What wheels can be repaired at your shop?
Painted aluminum wheels are what we typically work on. Any wheel that has a painted surface on it. Most painted wheels on cars today can be repaired with no problem.

What kind of damage do you fix?
Scuffs and gouges from rubbing curbs, scratches, worn or fading paint, ugly irremovable grime and break dust stains. Do you fix cracked wheels? Cracked wheels are the single most common type of damage that can leave a wheel beyond repair. We typically shy away from repairing cracked wheels because of liability reasons.

Can you do anything with chrome wheels?
Chrome is a whole different world. These are not a same day service repair and can be very costly. In most cases the wheel has to be completely stripped down and dipped in liquid chrome. It is a process that is obviously involved and expensive hence the reason most people just opt to purchase a new wheel.

What about wheel straightening?
We can straighten bent wheels, however it depends on how severe they are. If the wheel looks like the taco that you ate for dinner last night, then there is probably nothing we can do for you. Typical bends from hitting potholes are generally not a problem to straighten.

Will I have to have my wheels rebalanced?
No. unless we are doing something out of the ordinary the wheel and tire never get completely separated. There is always at least one of the two beads still intact so the tire never moves its position. Having said that, if we are repairing a wheel that has major damage to it, the repair can sometimes then require rebalancing. 99% of our repairs do not require a balance job.

How much does a repair cost?
Our wheel repair services start at $165.00 per wheel which is well below what most dealerships and repair shops charge. We request that the car is here for at least 5 hours to allow for paint curing time.
